Prostration
Imam Ali (as) said, ‘Nothing can bring about proximity to Allah, Glory be to Him, except an abundance of prostration (sujud) and bowing (ruku`a).’
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): لا يُقَرِّبُ مِنَ اللّهِ سبحانَهُ إلّا كَثرَةُ السُّجودِ والرُّكوعِ

Night Prayer
Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a), when asked about the reason why those who perform the night prayer have the most beautiful faces among people, replied, “Because they seclude themselves with Allah and so Allah covers them in His light.”
